Nspa products....

About a week ago or so I was chatting on Twitter to nspa - I first came across nspa in my local Asda whilst looking for a new shower gel to try. Our store didn't have a huge selection of this range but I came across the body wash in Jojoba and White Jasmine. I thought I would give it a try as I love Jasmine and OMG the smell is just amazing!! I couldn't get enough of it and what I loved was the fact I could smell it on myself all day! unlike some products where the smell wears off too quick. Only thing is I get some funny looks when Im walking around smelling myself!

Anyway, back to chatting with nsap on twitter - I had to find out if there were any other products in the Jojoba and White Jasmine and they kindly offered to send me the Body Polish and the Dry Body Oil - what can I say other than WOW! I can smell beautiful even more now!! the oil is amazing and leaves a lovely sheen which is great for this time of year when your sporting your vest tops, dresses and shorts etc.

The Polish is just beautiful and isn't abrasive like some polishes and didn't irritate my sensitive legs at all.....

I am thrilled with the products and cant wait to try more in the range - I think they do a lot more stuff.

Have you used anything from the range?? would love to know what :)

Have a great day

Maxitone Definity Review......

Hey everyone,

Todays review is on the Maxitone Definity Toning System.

So, I wanted to try this brand for so long but kept putting off time and time again.  I eventually gave in a got some from Holland and Barrett for just over £20.

Now I chose the chocolate flavor as Im a bit of a chocoholic! It also came in Strawberry but Im not a fan of shakes in that flavor so stuck to this one.

Now it says to use at breakfast and after a workout so as I work out first thing on the morning I had it straight after.

I had to mix one scoop with 200ml of water and give it a good shake!!

Hmmm did I like it?? if Im really honest - not that much, now I know they aren't meant to taste super luxurious but it just wasn't chocolatey enough for me and left me with a funny after taste - I did however make myself drink it all as I don't like waste but it was a struggle.

I did wonder however could it not be mixed with milk instead??

Also Im thinking I may use the rest up for pancakes/protein bars as can't stand to see it just sat in the cupboard.

Any recipes appreciated

Are there any other Protein powders you recommend?

Friday Ramble.....

Hello Guys,

So its that time of the week again, hope you have all had a great week and now ready to enjoy the weekend?

Firstly I should apologise for the lack of posts this week - as I said last week I have a lot going on in my private life which has not made me want to blog and unless Im 100% focused there really isn't any point in my writing half hearted posts. BUT that doesn't mean I haven't been trying new products and planning what I want to blog about :).

So as I am in the blogging mood today I am setting up some scheduled posts to come up during the next week for you just in case I lose my mojo again lol.

Some posts coming up will be covering -

*Maxitone Definity Shake

*Nspa Products

*Hair Removal - Yes a bit of a embarrassing one lol

*Fitness

And maybe some more if I get chance

Anyway, I need some help of your guys - I am looking for a new Foundation - don't know about you but I go through them like theres no tommorow. I have been using the Bourjois ones which I love but think I may want to try another brand just for a change and see how they work on me.

What I am looking for is -

* Dewy/Glowing Skin

* Not to heavy

* Must be under £10

Any recommendations?

Anyway, Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the posts coming up this week. Have an amazing weekend!!

Friday Ramble......

Hello.....

I thought I would start a weekly blog post called Friday Ramble... basically its going to be a general once a week post to chat about anything and everything, maybe things that have been happening, whats coming up, what I have been loving that particular week etc etc - you get the jist of it :)

Anyway this week has been a bit of a roller coaster week for me! I have had lots of ups and downs, Im not ready to go into the downs just yet as trying to adjust to things myself.

On the up though I have got some amazing people who listen to me when Im having rubbish day  - so thank you :)

Things I have been loving this week

* Horror Films - OMG I am obsessed with scaring the hell out of myself! I have always been a big fan of horror films and when I was a lot younger I was obsessed with all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies - anyone else used to watch them?

* The Kardashians - I know some of you will think Im crazy but I love watching all their different programs! I never really knew who they were until about a month ago and now have to watch daily!!

* The Beautiful Weather - I know its been crazy hot this week and we are all moaning including myself!! BUT I would much prefer it to be hot than cold - I really cant hack the winter months so I wont complain no more and make the most of it. A quick word of warning this is please use a high protection sun screen - I used Factor 30 this week and got badly burnt on my legs! and that was just being out in the garden for a very short time - you really don't know how powerful that sun can be, so stay safe.

Some Blogs I have been loving this week are -

*http://www.redheadbeautydiaries.co.uk/ - Jenny is a lovely beauty blogger  - great blog posts - so go and check her out.

*http://daisyrosebeauty.blogspot.co.uk/ Another Jen - she writes amazing blog posts on beauty well worth a check!

*http://www.thatspeachy.com/  Another great blogger and also from the North East - she now organises events for Bloggers in the North etc so go and check her out Fabbevents

*http://fortytherapy.blogspot.co.uk/ Sarah is another great blogger, I like her book reviews as well as the other posts :)

I will do more next week as theres some amazing blogs out there well worth a read!

I also wanted to give a mention to sopureskincare.co.uk this lady makes her own unique skin care and she is so lovely to talk to and I think you should go and check out her page and if you have any questions just ask as she is so helpful!

Anyway I think I have Rambled on enough for now but will be back with another post next Friday..

Have a amazing weekend and make sure you slap on that sunscreen :)

Midi Dresses...

I thought I would do a bit of a fashion post today for a change.

I wanted to talk about Midi Dresses...

Now I have never been a dress person at all and the only time I have forced myself to wear one is to a wedding and put it this way - I don't go to many of those..

Anyway, over the years I have always loved the look of Maxi dresses but when I have tried them on they never fit right - they always seem to long on me and I am 5'6 so not sure what Im doing wrong. I have however bought a maxi skirt from New Look which fits perfectly (will show this in another post!)

Anyway, It was only quite recently that I heard of Midi dresses and thought these sounded more up my street!

I came across this in Primark for a very reasonable £10 - It fits in all the right places without being too clingy round the rear.

I like the stud detail around the neckline to bling it up slightly.

All in all I really like this piece and am now on the look out for other Dresses similar style to this - if you can recommend any places please can you let me know below.

Sandals from New Look for around £17

Thanks for reading - have a lovely day.

Products Im loving.......

Hello, Hope you are all well.

I wanted to do a post showing you my must have items this last few weeks! these have been a staple for me and I really love the look they give on my skin..

Im loving the Cosmetics A la Carte Cream Blush in Starlight

This blush is such a beautiful peachy pinky colour and would suit most skintones,  I just blend on with my fingertips and it gives the most lovely dewy blushed look to the skin!

This MAC Blush in Stereo Rose is my all time reach for blush of all times!! I could say I use this product near enough every day and always get comments of people when I wear it! its the perfect corally peach colour and just glows beautifully - I am going to be devastated when this is all gone as not sure if you can still get this or not - anyone know?

So I have been using Bourjois Foundation for a couple of months now and recently went on to the serum version after using the Radiance one and heard this was a good one too - I love this foundation - on me personally its more light on the skin than the other one.  Its leaves the skin with a slight glow and doesnt accentuate any dry patches I have which is a bonus.

Swatch of the cream blush - sorry about the veiny hands - not a good look I know.

Swatch of Stereo Rose - love this colour so much.

So what products are you loving at the minute.

Thanks for reading.

Babyliss Soft Waves

After reading blog posts and seeing a lot of videos using these Babyliss Soft Waves I had to have them! I have tried numerous curlers etc to get the wave that I want but they are either to tight a curl or dont don anything.

I am loving these!! They give that soft beachy wave that I have been after for so long!!

They are easy to use, heat up in seconds and the finished effect is perfect for me.

I bought these from Boots for £29.99 which I think is a great price for something that can do my hair in five minutes

Our Maddie wanted to give me a kiss mid photo :)

Sun-Believable Tan Accelerator

I dont know about you but when it gets to this time of the year and when we do get a bit of sunshine I like to get in the garden for a bit..

I have always looked for products that helps you tan quicker hence not needing to sit out as long...  Yes I do wear sunscreen as I do believe its important to protect your skin but I think if you like to sit out  like I do - and you do it sensibly then thats fine.

Anyway on to the product! I seen this on QVCUK recently where Leighton Denny(nail expert) was demonstrating this.. as a sucker for tan accelerators I thought I should give it a go.

Now, I have used other Tan accelerators in the past including Gatineau, Elemis etc and while they are good products in themselves - this beats them all hands down!!

I cant believe how much this product amazes me!! It just works! It says to use approx 10 days before your holiday but if your not going on holiday like me then I just use it everyday instead of body lotion. The gel like texture sinks straight in and its dry to touch in just a few minutes.

This product makes me tan so quick I cant quite believe it myself! my arms have gone so dark and my legs! well what can I say, my legs never tan and I have a tan line just below the knee from just one day sitting out for a short time!! I have never had that before ever! they usually never change at all.

I use this on a night time too before bed but it does say use after the sun as a after sun too.

The bottle I got is only 100ml for £11 so doesnt last long but I know he launched a massive pump bottle on QVCUK so will probably get that when Its back in stuff as I really dont want to be without this throughout the summer.

Anyone else tried it?

I didn't buy mine off QVC I got mine from Amazon as wanted it delivering quicker.

Caudalie Divine Legs..

So after seeing a lot of rave reviews on the Caudalie Divine Legs and being a sucker for anything that makes me look tanned then it was something I had to try!!

I didn't want to pay for a full size bottle straight away until I seen what it was like but when I seen that Beauty Expert do samples for 3 pound with free delivery there was no thinking about it!

So today this little sample arrived and I could wait to rip it open and slather it on..

OMG this stuff is amazing!!! I was expecting to be like a oil but its actually a lot thicker and a little does spread.

So am I going to order a full size bottle!! too right I am.

Love the stuff already - this is definitely a summer staple

The picture shows it on my arm as didn't fancy showing my legs lol.

Rodial Brazillian Tan

So whilst recently shopping in Sainsburys I couldnt resist popping over to the magazine section to see what freebies were in the Magazines!! Im a bit of a sucker for it actually!

Anyway what jumped out at me was this free Rodial Tan with the Elle magazine! I have always wanted to try Rodial products.  Now let me be honest and say I don't ever buy the Elle Magazine and probably wont buy it again as its not my cup of tea but for the purpose of wanting the tan I didn't hesitate!

So I chose the one with the light tan in - I think you can get Dark and Clear as well but I need a guide colour and didn't want to be Super dark so thought the light would be the best option for me.

You get a 58ml in here which I think is good for a freebie!

This comes out like caramel!! it smells sooo good - could even go as far as saying it is my favourite smelling tan ever and I have used a lot. I actually cant stop smelling it!

What I like most is a little goes a long way and it blends so easy!

It says it takes up to 4 hours to develop.

WOW the colour is amazing, its quite a deepish colour for me considering it was the Light version. I love it so much. The results are even, the colour is beautiful and not a tinge of orange in it, all thats to do is wait and see how long it lasts now.

I would definitely invest in the Elle magazine while you can if you are thinking of trying this tan.

There is also a offer in the magazine that if you buy anything from Rodial you can claim 20% off

Have you tried this product? do you use any other Rodial products that you recommend?

Thanks for reading

Nakd Bars

First post is going to be on Nakd products - not that kind of naked!!

I have heard a lot on health bars lately and thought I would give them a try one day! Well yesterday whilst shopping, I was at the checkout and what was staring me in the face but this Nakd Bar in Cocoa Delight -I  couldnt walk out without picking one up to try and hey at least its better than picking up a normal chocolate bar right??

So here it is -

So the first thing that hits you is the smell!! it smells so rich and chocolately - its good!!
I was expecting it to be like a cereal bar but its not - its looks like a cake bar but it doesn't taste like one, it soft and bendy consistency is very appealing and makes me want to eat it quick!!
It actually tastes good!! I didn't expect it to taste as nice as it does with it being a health bar but it does.

I would eat one of these mid morning when I was feeling the hunger kick in..

There are a lot of flavours to choose from and you can buy them in boxes with multiple in so you dont run out - check it out here http://www.naturalbalancefoods.co.uk/nakd/

I have heard the chocolate orange ones are good so will look out for this one next..

Thanks for reading :)
